I can't express how honored I am that your considering me to shoot an important time in your life. I want to make sure your are comfortable through the whole process and that we are able to connect before the day of the shoot as well. With outside on-location photography I'm driven to find locations not seen everywhere else but I do know some of those locations are classic and may pull at your heart strings, and mine for that matter, and so we will discuss the look you are going for in your session and we will choose a location that will make your session come to life. With newborns I'm more than happy to have you come to my home so we can use my natural light little studio or I am more than welcome to pack up all my props, to ensure a one of a kind newborn session, and come to your home. I understand the love and need of a photograph with you and your family members a bit posed, but I also love capturing you all playing, laughing and enjoying the moment. Lifestyle photography ensures a one of a kind image and captures your family just as they are, that way you are sure to have lasting memories.
Once you have decided to book with me, we will pick the perfect day and time. My favorite times for sessions are sunrise or two hours before sunset. Newborn sessions would take place in the middle of the day to ensure pefect light coming through windows and are best scheduled when baby is between 5-10 days old. Once the date is picked out I will mail you more information, contract, and a questionnaire. Contracts are very important, not only for me but for your rights as well. The questionnaire is to ensure we are able to create a very unique session and experience.
After all the paper work and booking is complete, it is then time for the creative minds to get to work. As I create the props and other things needed for your customized session, you will be thinking up wardrobe for you and your family and any other ideas you'd like to bring to the session. I am always more than happy to help in any way with hunting for the perfect items to wear so do not hesitate to ask! Half of the session fee is due before your session that is to secure your spot on the calendar. The other half will be due at the session.
About a week after your session we will have a in person ordering consultation. This is where we will go over prints, sizes, albums, and Organic Bloom frames you just need in your home.
